First of all I have to say I'm new to The Hunger Games crazyness. After working late one night I came home to my housemate and her girlfriends watching movie trailers on the TV and what had started as hot actor commentary quickly turned into a frenzy of hysteria when The Hunger Games trailer came on. After foolishly asking what the go with the movie was, I was quickly put in my place and ordered to read the 'you-totes-wont-be-able-to-stop-reading' books. From the first few pages of the easy-to-read novel, I was hooked and the movie is just as amazing.

While I was late on the books, I'm quick on the movie to say this is one of the best films I've seen this year. Filling the void that Harry Potter left and the hole that Twilight never filled, The Hunger Games is the young-adult novel-come-movie that will leave you wanting more.
